To better serve baby boomers preparing for retirement as well as millennials seeking wills, Guidant merged with Mesa-based Brown & Jensen. Scott Jensen joins the firm as partner, bringing extensive experience in estate planning and probate that complements our existing practices serving businesses, individuals and families.
“Guidant clients appreciate our multi-disciplinary approach addressing the wide range of legal challenges they face. Adding Scott to the team improves our ability to meet rising demand for estate planning services,” said Sam Saks, Guidant partner. “At the same time, Brown & Jensen clients can now receive guidance on everything from bankruptcy, personal injury and real estate to corporate law, commercial litigation and intellectual property.”
With more than 2.5 million Arizonans over age 50, demand for estate planning services is strong. Moreover, according to Caring.com, the number of adults under 35 with a will increased 63% since 2020, demonstrating an opportunity to guide millennials as they begin to accumulate wealth.
Guidant now has 13 practice areas across 10 locations in Arizona and another in Nashville, Tenn. The headquarters will remain in Tempe, and satellite offices will be maintained throughout the Valley, Tucson, Payson and Show Low.
