To help professionals better understand the process and complexities of expert witnessing, the Arizona Society of CPAs invited Gary Smith to provide his expertise at their latest Converge Conference.
In his presentation, Expert Witnessing for Fun and Profit, Gary provided the helpful information and insights on expert opinion testimonies to CPAs, who are often times called to the stand to testify.
His presentation addressed a range of topics, including tips for providing a viable testimony, information on non-experts testifying and the importance of demeanor — as well as tips on what to avoid when serving as an expert witness.
